Logan City Council (Queensland, Australia) has launched its community forum on the Tygum Park Masterplan. The draft plan has been prepared to guide the future development of recreational facilities within and around Tygum Park. For many years, Council has talked about upgrading the facilities at Tygum Park to provide a variety of recreational opportunities for residents in Waterford West and the surrounding area. It is intended that the park will become the focus for recreation in Waterford West with play areas and recreation facilities for cyclists using the regional cycle network. The upgrades are designed to improve the environment with the treatment of stormwater entering the lagoon and rehabilitation of key vegetation areas.
